Delivery Modes

One of the most significant features of the IMOS Solutions is this: You have to learn no new software to utilize them. In other words, you can avail yourself of the benefits on our work without having to learn new software tools to use and mine the data.

Effective Delivery
Another solution, not another problem

We deliver the answers that you need, whether they be analysis of a business issue, or the datasets for you to conduct said analysis yourself, in a format that YOU already know how to explore and exploit. All you need to tell us is how you want the data, and that will be the format in which you will get it. From straight reports, to Excel spreadsheets, pivot tables, SQL compliant dataset tables (e.g., Access tables), SQL datasets themselves, text files, anything you can think of, we will make sure you get the data that way. This means immediate gratification, because you and your staff can start using the service outputs on day 1, devoting no time to learn how to exploit the data, but rather to come up with conclusions and corrective business actions, instead of belaboring over how to produce the data for analysis. But we do not do this in a vacuum, because we want you and your constituency to be able to trust the data all the way, from the smallest of analysis to hospital wide ones, we have implemented another concept…

In summary:  We operate under a simple premise: to deliver fast, effective and sustainable implementations followed by solid support of expert use of the data… all at a very reasonable cost. We strive to ensure that the client derives maximum benefits from their investment in this strategic capability. That is it, a simple but powerful mix: solve a difficult problem and deliver superior value in doing so.

Transparency and trust – The “floating tie Line” IMOS has instituted a concept called the “floating reconciliation or tie-line”. The way it works is as follows: whenever an analysis is delivered to you, you will have the option to get a “tie line” along with it. This “tie line” comes straight from the dataset from which your analysis is performed. It is the way IMOS gives you for you to link your analysis to the total hospital performance. This means that, your analysis PLUS anything else not related to it should tie to the total hospital. Adding your analysis to the tie line should show that your numbers are not “made up” because the tie-line is not a simple mathematical equation (i.e., “Hospital – your analysis = Tie Line”) but rather the aggregation of cases which do not meet your specified analysis criteria. This makes it crystal clear that the numbers are real because, if need be, you can easily “explode” the tile line into its components to show where the dollars come from. What is the virtue of this? – If challenged, you can demonstrate on any given analysis, that your data ties to the base (i.e., the GL, Billing System, Payroll, etc.) and this will ensure the credibility that is always essential to carry out decision making. Transparency and trust are the best way to ensure data reliability, confidence in the analysis and focus on action instead of challenging the numbers.

Conclusion: An effective analysis and data delivery mode is that which enables the client to focus on conclusions, business operations exploration and performance improvement actions. This is the goal at the heart of the IMOS Solution service mission.
